2. Charging and Power Management
The TM-B system is designed for fast, convenient USB-C charging.

How does the battery charge?
Both the Base and Performance Batteries are charged using an included 240W USB-C power adapter.

What are the expected charge times?
Using the recommended 240W USB-C adapter, you can expect the following charge times:
  • Base Battery: 0–80% in 1.8 hours; 0–100% in 2.3 hours.
  • Performance Battery: 0–80% in 2.25 hours; 0–100% in 3.75 hours.

Can I charge the battery while it is on the bike?
Yes. A conveniently accessible USB-C port is located on the down tube, allowing you to charge the TM-B without removing the battery.

Does my bike come with a power adapter?
Yes, all bike purchases include a 240W USB-C power adapter.

3. Functionality and Usage

Can I use the battery to charge my devices?
Yes. When the battery is removed from the bike, it has two built-in USB-C ports that can be used to charge/power external devices.

What happens when the battery is low during my ride?
  • Below 10% Charge: The bike enters "Conserve Mode," limiting power assistance to help you pedal more efficiently.
  • At or Below 3% Charge: The bike enters "Infinite Turtle Mode," where the rider powers the bike manually, and the battery only uses minimal power to keep the bike's core systems on (e.g., lights, display).

Can I remove the battery for transport?
Yes.  Removing the battery (and the Top Frame) can help reduce the overall weight of the
TM-B when transporting the bike in a vehicle or carrying it upstairs.
