TM-B OTA Update Guide

Your TM-B is built to get smarter over time. We regularly push wireless software updates to improve performance, unlock features, and optimize your overall ride experience. Follow this quick guide to prepare your vehicle's connection and battery before initiating an Over-The-Air (OTA) update.

How to Install an Over-The-Air (OTA) Firmware Update

Review these essential setup tips to ensure a successful software installation:

Pre-Update Checklist
  • Check Your Signal: The update downloads via cellular networks. Your TM-B must be parked in an area with a strong, active LTE connection.
  • Note: If your bike is currently out of cellular range, don't worry. The download sequence will automatically start the next time your vehicle enters an LTE zone.
  • Check Your Charge: Your primary battery pack must have a charge level of 30% or higher for the update sequence to initiate and install.

Starting the Installation
  • Locate the Update: You will see an update notification pop up directly on your TM-B screen. You can also manually find it under the Settings menu while in Walk Mode.
  • The Progress Bar: Once the installation begins, wait for the screen progress bar to reach 100% completely.
  • Note: Do not panic if your screen shuts off. The head unit display will go completely dark twice during the standard installation process. This is completely normal behavior.

Critical Step
Once you tap start, please wait for the update to download and install completely before attempting to turn on, configuration modify, or ride your TM-B. Interrupted installations can disrupt vehicle systems.
