Pedaling, Gears, and Throttle
Pedaling behavior and effort level are controlled by two main methods on your right handlebar: the DreamRide toggle for transmission settings, and the throttle for boost behavior.
DreamRide toggle
The DreamRide toggle selects your assist level or gear depending on your transmission style.
Automatic keeps your cadence constant while adjusting rear wheel speed accordingly. (Cadence is your pedaling speed, measured in RPM.)
Change your cadence setting using the quick control menu.
Manual lets you choose your virtual gear, and maintains the assist level you set before entering Manual, letting your cadence be dynamic.
In Manual, you change assist level using the quick control menu.
* Tap the ride mode icon on the Ride screen, or swipe down on any Ride screen, to access the quick controls view.

Throttle behavior
When the e-bike is in Walk, pressing the throttle gives 3.7 mph of walk assist for going over a curb or up a ramp. Pedals don't provide propulsion in Walk.
When the e-bike is in Ride, throttle behavior depends on your region and local e-bike laws:
Where a throttle is allowed, holding the control moves the e-bike forward even without pedaling, a steady acceleration like an e-scooter.
Where a throttle isn't allowed without pedaling, the throttle acts as an assist boost that temporarily increases your pedal assist level, stronger the farther you push it. The e-bike returns to your previous assist level when you release the throttle.
IMPORTANT: The acceleration on the TM-B is powerful. Make sure you're fully seated and have full control of the e-bike before pressing the throttle.
Ride modes
Change your ride mode by swiping down from the top of any Ride screen, then tapping the bottom button on the quick controls screen.
All Purpose: Medium acceleration for on-road applications.
Sport: Top power and performance - prioritizes acceleration over range.
Trail (All Terrain configurations only): Steady acceleration for off-road rides. Speed is limited to 20 mph, and the throttle button switches from throttle behavior to assist-boost behavior while pressed.
