Service and MaintenanceUpdated 2 months ago
Recommended service intervals can vary depending on use conditions. We generally recommend inspections, service, and necessary replacements be performed at the time and distance intervals described in our article on service intervals, but recommend having your bike serviced more frequently if you ride aggressively, with heavy payloads, or in harsh conditions
Before riding your TM-B we recommend going through the following pre-ride checklist:
Before Every Ride (Pre-Ride Check)
Quick checks take less than 5 minutes and prevent most on-road failures:
Tires: Check pressure and inspect for punctures or cuts.
Brakes: Test lever feel and stopping power.
Belt tension and alignment: Visual check — belt should be centered and tension firm but not overly tight.
Suspension: Bounce the bike to confirm normal damping and no leaks.
- Battery: Verify secure mounting and charge level.
WARNING: Incorrect assembly, maintenance, or use of your e-bike can cause component or performance failure, loss of control, or serious injury. E-bikes have parts that non-motorized bikes do not have, and neither the assembly steps and/or assembly videos cover all potential aspects of e-bike configuration, maintenance, and repair, which can require specialized tools and skills. We strongly recommend you consult a professional, or reputable bike mechanic to assist in the assembly, repair, and maintenance of your ebike, or inspect your work if you choose to do it yourself.
