Display Not RespondingUpdated 2 hours ago
Display is frozen, but still on
If the screen is lit but won't respond to touch, or it's stuck on one image, there are two things to check:
Rule out a low battery
Low voltage can cause software errors. Plug a charger into the USB-C port on the downtube. Give the screen a few minutes.
Restart the software
If it's still frozen, find the small reset button on the downtube. Press and hold it until the Portal screen turns off, about 15 seconds. Then let it restart on its own.
If an error code appears:
Take a photo of it and send it to our Support team. Codes help us pinpoint things fast.
Won't turn on
Your bike may just be asleep. To save battery, it powers off after 36 hours with no activity. This is normal.
If squeezing the brakes does not wake the bike:
Press the Reset button on the downtube.
Plug the ALSO charger into the USB-C port on the downtube.
If it still doesn’t wake, let it charge for 30 minutes and try again.
The removable battery shows some charge, but the screen still won't light up.
There is an internal battery that powers the computer, and it needs some charge to turn things on. If this battery fully drains, the best way to charge it is via the downtube USB-C port.
