How does regenerative braking work on my TM-B?
Regenerative braking (or "Regen") is an energy recovery feature on your TM-B that automatically recharges your battery whenever you slow down. By capturing the kinetic energy normally lost as heat during braking, the system extends your riding range and keeps your battery topped up while you ride.
How It Works
Activation: Regen engages automatically the moment you stop pedaling or apply the brakes.
Energy Capture: The motor reverses its function, acting as a generator to convert your forward momentum (kinetic energy) back into electricity.
Storage: This recovered electricity is fed directly back into your TM-B's battery pack.
Adjusting Your Settings
Customization Tip: You can control the strength of the braking effect. Navigate to your TM-B Settings menu to adjust how much drag the regen system applies when you coast.
