TM-B DisplayUpdated 2 months ago

What is 'The Portal' and how does TM-B connectivity work?

The Portal is the TM-B's integrated 2.75-inch high-resolution touch display that serves as the central control hub for your ride. Designed as a "window into your ride," it syncs directly with the ALSO App to track data, manage navigation, and control vehicle settings.

Software-Defined Ride: Almost every aspect of the TM-B—from energy output and pedal resistance to the user interface—is controlled by purpose-built software.

Full Connectivity: The bike comes equipped with a complete connectivity suite including GPS, BLE (Bluetooth), Wi-Fi, and LTE.

Future-Proofing (OTAs): Your bike receives over-the-air (OTA) updates to add new Ride Modes, safety features, and improvements automatically.

What is the Connect+ subscription?

Connect+ is ALSO's premium connectivity subscription focused on enhanced security. It acts as a "tech-enabled watchdog" for your bike, providing peace of mind through active monitoring features.

Tamper Alerts: Receive immediate notifications if your bike is disturbed.

Real-Time Tracking: Monitor your bike's location via GPS.

Remote Disabling: Disable the bike remotely in the event of theft.

Monthly Plan: $15 / month

Annual Plan: $120 / year (Best Value at ~$10/mo)

What features does the ALSO App offer?

The ALSO App functions as a remote control for your TM-B, allowing you to manage your bike's status and features from anywhere.

Remote Monitoring: Check your current battery charge level from your couch.

Update Management: Queue up the latest software updates (OTAs) from your desk so the bike is ready when you are.

Proximity Unlocking: Automatically unlock your bike simply by walking up to it, or lock it by walking away.
