Reservations FAQ

What is a Reservation?
A reservation is $50, fully refundable, and holds your spot in line without committing you to anything. Think of it as raising your hand. When reservation holders receive a notice in their email that it’s time to pre-order, they can configure and check out for the full purchase price. In general, the faster that order is placed, the faster the bike is shipped.
Does a reservation guarantee me a bike?
When you convert your reservation into a full purchase, you'll receive your TM-B in the order your order was placed. A reservation isn’t a promise of a specific delivery date but honoring reservations is our priority until TM-B is generally available for immediate delivery. Reservation Agreement
Can I cancel my reservation?
Cancel any time, no cost, and your $50 comes back in full. Reach out to support@ridealso.com or use our contact form and we'll take care of it.
Configuring Before You Pre-Order
While you wait, creating a draft build is highly recommended. Build your bike in the configurator and save it as a draft so you can reference the build and check out quickly when conversion opens. You can save more than one draft and name them, so feel free to experiment with different builds before committing.
Does my reservation fee count toward the price?
Yes. The $50 reservation counts toward your total build cost. Neither is an extra fee stacked on top of your final price.
When can I convert the reservation I have into a full purchase?
If you reserved before August 17th, you can already pre-order your bike now. If you reserved after that, hang tight for your opportunity to be announced.
How do I reserve?
That's an easy one. Reserve now.

Where can I ride a TM-B?

How much does shipping cost?
We ship anywhere in the continental US for a flat $150.
Do you ship outside the US?
Not yet. US only for now, but international shipping and sales is something we're actively working toward.
How long will it take for my order to arrive?
We estimate our carrier, SEKO, to take anywhere from 3-7 days from warehouse to your door, depending on location.
Can I track my order once it ships?
Yes, we will have tracking available in your ridealso.com account, and you will receive email updates every step of the way.
Do I need to be home to receive my delivery?
Yes, you or someone you trust will need to sign for the package when it arrives.
Can I schedule my delivery?
Not yet. Following the tracking closely is the best way to anticipate the exact arrival time. Some last mile carriers will offer scheduling options or a courtesy call ahead of your delivery, but it's dependent on your location.
Will my TM-B arrive assembled, or do I need to assemble it myself?
Assembly is required. We will have detailed instructions and videos available for DIY setup. No experience is required, but it doesn't hurt to have, either. If you're unsure, it's always a good idea to have a professional handle it. You can have your TM-B assembled at an LBS (Local Bike Shop) for $180.
Does ALSO offer expedited or rush shipping?
Not at this time. We're focused on getting all of our orders out in the order they came in. The best way to get your TM-B faster is by placing the order ASAP.
Do reservations and preorders ship in the order they were placed?
Ideally. In practice it may vary depending on configuration and availability. There are a large number of variations, and each bike is made à la carte with love.
Can I pick up my order instead of having it shipped?
No, we don't yet have retail spaces to offer in-store pickup, and we don't offer warehouse pickup either. You can, however, have your bike delivered to a local bike shop to assembly, and pick it up there. It does not impact your shipping speed to do so.
Does the shipping cost differ for accessories versus a full bike?
Accessories ship for $30/order right now. Accessories ship separately from TM-B so there is an additional $30 charge on a full bike order for the gear. That may change in the future, but for now, order all of your accessories at the same time to save on shipping.
